[Summit] Recall Update: Kevin Jackson Still Hasn't Filed Campaign Finance Reports

Dear Neighbor,

On Tuesday May 2, voters in Providence's Ward 3 have the opportunity to vote to recall our City Councilor, Kevin Jackson.

I've heard people complain, "It won't do any good. All politicians are the same." 
This is an opportunity for you to make yourself heard. 
It will take about five minutes of your time. I encourage you to show up and vote, no matter what you choose. 

One of the reasons for the recall is the long years of neglect by Mr. Jackson of campaign finance rules

Despite the recall process, Mr. Jackson has not filed a Campaign Finance Report since February 2016. 
As of today (April 26), he currently has all of 2016 reports listed as past due*.

Filing a campaign finance report is not rocket science. It's not difficult. It's minor bookkeeping designed to show that an official is being honest. It's an obligation of a public official. Mr. Jackson, who gave your campaign money? Where did you spend it? We don't know.

I'm voting to Recall Kevin Jackson.
