[Summit] Restoring the rainwater pool

This afternoon I began the work of mucking out the center of the rapidly
siliting in rainwater pool to deepen it so that it would hold water longer
in dry spells and give the breeding Flowler¹s Toads better odds of a
successful breeding season.  Today I and my volunteers made some very good
progress, digging about 1/5 of what needs to be done.

The key take away:  If you are coming to work, a garden spade is the best
tool for the job, and if you have one , that is what you shoud bring if you
are volunteering.  If you do not have a spade, a regular shovel will do.
More wheelbarrows would also be helpful if we have more folks working.  On
Sunday, regular shovels will be useful for backfilling the site, but maybe
even more useful will be garden forks.

Work will begin at 1 PM on Friday and 10 AM on Sunday
