| Don't miss our Fall Members' Exhibition! Three galleries filled with nearly 140 artworks. |

| Join us this month to see our Fall Members' Exhibition. On view throughout our galleries, you will find a selection of nearly 140 original works of art by our Exhibiting Artist Members. This show will remain on view through September 18 and will be open Mondays - Saturdays, 12-4pm and by appointment.
When visiting, guests must wear a face covering and maintain appropriate distance. At this time, only the three public gallery spaces (Dodge House, Maxwell Mays, and Mary Castelnovo), will be accessible to non-members. To see other spaces within the Club, you are welcome to arrange a personal tour by appointment with Michael Rose.
We are creating another interactive exhibition catalogue with prices and sizes for all the submissions, which will be available soon, and we will be happy to facilitate sales on site or by phone. Sales of fine art are tax free in Rhode Island. Join us on Facebook and Instagram to see updates from this show throughout the month.
We were very pleased to welcome Victoria Gao, Director of the Bannister Gallery and Collections at Rhode Island College, to join us as our esteemed Awards Judge for this exhibition.
She has selected 14 works to receive over $5,000 in prizes. You can explore these works by clicking the button below. |

| An Artist Talk with Photographer and Toy Designer David Birdpresented Live via ZoomThursday, September 24 at 6pm EST$10 for PAC Members, $20 for Non-Members |

| |

| Join photographer and toy designer David Bird for a behind-the-scenes peek at how he creates his work, specifically his whimsical and imaginative Becorns series. This body of work features characters made from acorns and sticks, which are photographed in the wild with real animals. The process usually involves a study of animal behavior, birdseed, and a lot of patience. David will share some of the lessons he took away from his experience as a Lego designer, his early explorations building with natural materials, and how his characters evolved from there. He’ll share a video of the building process and discuss the techniques he’s developed over the last 10+ years to entice animals to interact with his figures.
About David M BirdDavid M Bird is a photographer and toy designer based in South Kingstown, RI. His photography conjures a whimsical world where acorn creatures grow on trees, feed birds, and defend themselves against squirrel attacks. To achieve this, he builds creatures out of acorns and sticks, then photographs them in the wild with real animals. This process evolved from his years as a designer for Lego where he learned to build characters and tell stories with bricks. Now he does the same, but with sticks. David studied Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design, spent most of his career designing toys for Lego and Hasbro, and has exhibited his work at RI Comic Con.See his work and learn more at http://www.davidmbird.com.
