   - West Broadway Neighborhood Association Annual Meeting, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Monday 1 February:   
   - College Hill Neighborhood Association, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Thursday 4 February:   
   - Providence City Council, 7 p.m.
Monday 8 February:   
   - Fox Point Neighborhood Association, 7 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday 16 February:   
   - City Plan Commission, 4 p.m.   

Thursday 18 February:   
   - Providence City Council, 7 p.m.

 Ward 1 Monthly Community Meeting
In an effort to strengthen consistent communication and get the most up to date information throughout the entire Ward, we will continue hosting Ward 1 Monthly Community Meetings (virtually due to COVID) every last Monday of the month. 

Our next community meeting will include: 
   
   - Caroline Skuncik, the Executive Director of the I-195 Redevelopment District will join us to tell us about developments in the Ward. It will also be an opportunity for neighborhood residents to ask about current and future proposed developments that will impact the neighborhood
   
   - The developer of Parcel 6 will also be joining us to provide us with a Q&A presentation on their construction of a 13,000 sf grocery store, 10,000 sf of retail and office, and 49 dwelling units across the street from the Shell Gas Station/Corliss Landing building. We encourage neighbors to bring any relevant questions or concerns that they have about the project 
   
   - Lt. Dufault and O'Brien from the Providence Police Department will discuss public safety in the Ward

This year's Annual Meeting will be celebrated virtually on Tuesday, January 26, 6:30-7:30pm, and features an abbreviated program highlighting WBNA’s 2020 accomplishments, Award Winners, and new board nominees. ALL ARE WELCOME!
 

HIGHLIGHTS
   
   - Hear how WBNA pivoted in 2020 to meet new challenges, and continued our advocacy and community-building work this past year
   - Honor 2020 community Award Recipients that include Frank Martinez, Kaitlyn Alyece Event Architects, Seven Stars Bakery, David Haller, Ken Phillips, and our Neighborhood Public School Hero Awardees from Carl G. Lauro Elementary, Asa Messer Elementary, and West Broadway Middle Schools!
   - Renew your membership or join as a new member so you can cast your vote for our 2021 Board and support our work throughout the year


It was a year like no other, yet WBNA was able to respond to 2020’s challenges with the help of many neighbors and the generous support of sponsors. From helping neighbors in need, to partnering with neighbors and organizations to expand our collective voices and pursue common goals, to organizing a historic neighborhood giving campaign and supporting local businesses, 2020 was a year we pivoted. We did not pause.

Join us as we celebrate these accomplishments, and gear up for what's ahead in 2021. In this our 38th year, WBNA looks forward to our continued work and advocacy together with you, as your people-powered neighborhood association.
