[Summit] FW: More Hope Street Vandalizm

Thanks, Jessica. I am copying Lt. Schiavulli on this reply.

My family's property on Lewis St., one house in from Hope Street, was
a victim of similar vandalism overnight between June 3 and June 4
this year. We did call the police that morning, and an officer came
to see the damage and was sympathetic. There should be a police
report on this incident.

The vandals tore all the lower limbs off a young dogwood tree we had
planted some years earlier in front of our house. They also went up
on our porch and took one of two matching, very heavy pottery glazed
planters and smashed it (and its flowers) in the middle of our street.

You can see photos I took that morning here:

This seems a bit similar to the vandalism last night along Hope Street.

I honest don't care if it's "kids." I care about the property, both
public and private, that is destroyed and the meanness that chips
away at our spirits.

Thanks,
Anne
