Each year, during the month of April, Groundwork Providence
and the City sponsor neighborhood cleanups. And most years,
the SNA leads one in our neighborhood.
Each year we invite guest speakers to address topics affecting
Summit residents. We also discuss the past year's achievements and
elect the Officers and Board for the coming year.
Every election year, we organize a debate between candidates for
local office, and invited guest speakers who address ballot issues.
The League of Women Voters moderates the event.

A project to nominate Summit Neighborhood to the
National Register of Historic Places,
as a Historic District. Sponsored by the
Providence
Preservation Society and the SNA.
A traffic study of the Summit Neighborhood, funded by the City with
the support of Councilman Jackson and the Department of Planning and
Development.
The SNA's annual, and only, fundraiser. Neighbors contribute their
cast-off treasures and volunteers man the tables one Saturday each May.
The Yard Sale is relentlessly successful, and together with membership
fees helps the SNA fund our other activities throughout the year.
